Workspaces

Organize your teams and manage access at the highest level.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is the top-level container in SAJEL. It represents your organization, company, or team. Everything in SAJEL — bases, boards, records, automations — lives inside a workspace.

You can have multiple workspaces if you manage separate organizations or want to keep different contexts completely isolated.

Creating a workspace

Click the workspace switcher in the top-left of the sidebar, then click "Create workspace". Give it a name and optional description.

Most organizations need just one workspace. Use bases inside it to separate departments or projects.

Members and roles

Each workspace has members with assigned roles:

Owner — Full control over the workspace, billing, and member management. Cannot be removed.
Admin — Can manage bases, boards, members, and settings. Cannot delete the workspace.
Editor — Can create and edit records, views, and forms. Cannot manage members.
Viewer — Read-only access. Can view data but cannot make changes.

Be careful when assigning the Admin role. Admins can invite and remove other members.

Workspace settings

Access workspace settings from the gear icon in the sidebar. Here you can:

Rename the workspace
Update the workspace description
Manage members and invitations
View workspace-level audit logs
Delete the workspace (Owner only)
